Lead Pastor: Brian Stanley

The Stanley's became the Lead Pastors of Lifehouse in May of 2009.  They live in Altoona with their two incredible daughters Breanna (18) and Tori (13).  Pastor Brian is the primary teaching pastor at Lifehouse and is employed as an IT Business Systems Manager for a local insurance company.  In his spare time he loves reading, writing, and just about anything sci-fi or techy (he's rather geeky and knows it).

Worship Directors: Patrik & Trina Emmert

The Emmerts came on staff as worship leaders at Lifehouse in September of 2009.  They have two beautiful daughters Trinity (10) and Natalee (4) and reside in Des Moines.  The Emmerts bring passion and sincerity as they lead worship for our community.  They are both talented musicians having written and composed several popular worship songs.

Aaaron and Bria Colyer came on staff at Lifehouse in April of 2011.  They reside in Ankeny. Aaron's passion for kids came from when he assisted his father in children's church growing up.  Aaron is in the process of getting his teaching degree in Elementary Education. Bria's passion for kids comes from being an older sister and helping with her young siblings. She recently graduated from Iowa School of Natural Health to be a Licensed Massage Therapist. 

Mary and her husband Tim have been long time key leaders at Lifehouse.  They have 3 adult children and reside in Clive.  Mary oversees many key church and staff operations and when you call is most likely the voice at the other end of the line. 

Overseeing financial aspects of Lifehouse is Mary Jo Hudson.  Mary Jo dilegently manages all the financial resources of the church.  She works hard seeing to the accurate and realiable handling of both contributions and expenses.  At Lifehouse, we take financial integrity and accoutability seriously and Mary Jo makes sure all the checks and balances are in place.  Mary Jo and her husband David have 4 adult children and live in Windsor Heights.

Dawn brings nearly 15+ years of experience working with Junior High and High School students to the table and does so with great love and passion. Having two teenagers of her own, her leadership and input for both students and parents isn't built around theory and empty advice, but experience. Her approach to student ministry is one of modeling and mentoring, realizing that influencing students must reach beyond being cool.

Chena serves as the church nursery director.  She ensures that all of our little ones have top notch care and attention.  The nursery has been a bustling ministry at Lifehouse and Chena oversees the recruiting, onboarding and training of our volunteer nursery workers.  Chena and her husband Michael live in Adel and have three awesome little boys, Tiernan (4) and twins Elliott and Emerson (2).
