Local Ministies Focus for April We will be focusing on Ruth Harbor for the month of April. We will be collecting toilet paper, paper towels, paper bowls and plates. Check out the Lifehouse Storehouse in the lobby for more information about the ministry of Ruth Harbor.
Deluge Prayer in May May 2 is National Day of Prayer, so we will be changing our Deluge prayer in May to Thursday, May 2 from 7-8 p.m. Please join us for this special time of prayer.
Women’s Coffee Club Please note that the May Women’s Coffee Club has been moved to the second Saturday, May 11 @ 10:30 AM. There will be a Mother’s Day theme for this meeting. If you have children, please bring a photo of your children. Please RSVP to Terri if you plan to attend: 515-253-9511
Sons of Thunder Our Sons of Thunder men’s LifeGroup meets on Saturday, May 11 @ 8:30 am in the community room. All men are invited to join us for breakfast, followed by a bible study. Please bring something to share for the breakfast.
Married for Life Our next Married for Life is scheduled for Friday, May 17 @ 7 pm in the café. If you’re interested in getting together with other married couples on a monthly basis for encouragement, instruction, and fellowship, here’s the group for you. We believe God has a plan for each couple, and the necessary grace to help us realize that plan.
All-Church Annual Meeting Our 2024 All Church Annual Meeting will be on Wednesday, May 8 @ 6:30 PM in the community room. We will enjoy desserts during the meeting. Please bring a dessert to share. Drinks will be provided. Midweek for kids and youth will be as usual. Our agenda will include the annual financial report, review of the past year’s milestones and challenges and sharing of vision for the upcoming year. If you are a current member of Lifehouse, it’s also time to renew your Lifehouse Church Partnership Covenant card. Our bylaws require yearly renewal of membership prior the Annual Meeting. Membership is not required to attend the annual meeting, but membership is required for voting privileges. Membership cards are available at the welcome counter. Signed cards can be dropped into the offering basket. We hope you will mark your calendars and plan to join us on May 8.
